The world's tallest statue — a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

Overview

Standing 182 metres tall on Sadhu Bet island along the Narmada, the Statue of Unity is the centrepiece of the Kevadia tourism circuit. Designed by sculptor Ram V. Sutar, it honours India's first Deputy Prime Minister and the architect of national integration. Visitors can explore the museum, audio-visual gallery, memorial garden at the statue's feet, and optionally ascend to the viewing gallery at 153 metres for panoramic views of the Sardar Sarovar reservoir and Narmada valley.
